2014 Walrus

	From time to time a walrus poked his head out of the water and had a look at us, but the only time we got close was at the colony on Pollepynt. (Double click any picture to see full size, then use the back button on your browser to return here)
	We met Sillage, an French boat with same hull as ours, but quite different rig and below decks.
	The walrus are remarkably tame, and easy to approach. They let you know their comfort zone with a quick, but not dangerous lunge with the tusks.
